Robo Kondo

Robo Kondo is designed to be the crowning glory of Ubercorp. A massive and very much over-engineered machine in its own right, Robo Kondo is also accompanied by some of the most powerful robots in the company’s arsenal. Each time the massive automaton enters the battlefield, Ubercorp spares no expense, ensuring that the deployment will awe any potential investors who might be watching the carnage. To anyone with much sense, Ubercorp is only a company bloated by multiple countries’ massive contracts, often at the expense of any actually useful response to the monsters that plague Earth.

Strategy

Robo Kondo (RK or RoKo) appears to be a somewhat slow, heavy-hitting unit general at first glance. However, despite being only SPD 5, Flying and high-mobility allow him to traverse most obstacles in the game. He's able to do this with surprising quickness as well due to having Rocket Boost on both his alpha and hyper forms which allows him to move three spaces during a unit or monster activation. Not only is this quite the boon to his mobility, but it also allows him to screen himself against enemy monsters which allows for some flexibility in where he can safely be at the end of a monster activation. This is an incredible defensive ability, and RoKo's tankiness is further driven home by his 12 hp and access to Tantrum in alpha. Tantrum can often ruin an opponent's plans for sending RoKo into a nasty single-to-double building collision as he can move off of the line for the second attack which allows him to be even more annoying to kill than his 12 hp implies. The combination of out-of-activation movement, Tantrum, and 12 hp allow him to survive long enough to get a lot of use out of his unit general abilities, Subsidize and Cut Above the Rest. While UCI units are often overlooked, they can shine with RoKo's buffs. Robo Brontox and Shinobot units are the most commonly seen as they're great point holders that can be nudged into solid attackers by Cut Above the Rest, but a U-Tank or AAapebot are also sometimes used.

List Building

While not strictly necessary, bringing along UCI units with RoKo is always a good idea. Even if you just bring a couple of Robo Brontox to take advantage of the discount for a unit that is a great point holder, it is worth it.
